WebAug 16, 2024 · Robocopy was going so fast it was locking the log file as in use since the log file was in the same folder as the destination for the copy. But no matter where I add /log+:”c:\temp\robo.log” it can’t seem to process it and throws an error at the log argument. Is there anyway to get it to work?

I am new on robocopy and my plan is to transfer data from one server to another both on a different domain. Since I have several folders to transfer, the way I have the script seems to do the work however I do not know how I can add the login details for the source/destination server. jdw court recordsWebI'm trying to accomplish the same thing, but using a Robocopy job file (*.rcj). To solve the original, simply add at the command line /LOG+:%DATE:~10,4%%DATE:~7,2%%DATE:4,2%.txt - this will give you a 20241023.txt output and change as the date changes. Doesn't work on .RCJ files though.
